The fabulous Lake Zebrus occupies 412 ha and is the biggest in Dobele District.It is 3,6 km long, 1,75 km wide, but the highest depth reaches 3,9 m. The lake is very popular with fishermen and a good recreation place for people who are keen on swimming.
From the Palace you can have a nice look to the lake it is roundish shape, 372 ha in size with a flow to the basin of the rivers Auce and Bērze.The 348 ha of Vīķi marsh encloses the lake. The marsh is the nature preserve.The lake gradually grows up and there is about 8m deep mud layer. The lake is favourite with fishermen and bird watchers.

It has found its location in a very picturesque place, in the territory of Nature Park Tērvete. It is restricted by 2,5 km long dam, there are three islands in the lake, that have become fond of water birds.The reservoir is rich in fish and they are supplemented every year. Convenient footbridges are built for fishermen.

The lake lies in the arcuate of beautiful hils and woods. Its territory is 13,8 ha, but the biggest depth is 15,5 m. The river Gaurata runs out of the lake.Resting grounds are arranged at the lake and they are enlarged and facilitated every year.
The lake is rich in firsh , there are excellent places for fishing from the banks and also from the boat.
Surrounded by woods and hills the Lake Spārnu quietly lounges in the sun. It is popular with the fishermen. A cosy recreation area with tables and benches is arranged at the lake. Spārnu Castle Mound is on the opposite side of the lake.

The lake lies nearby the Lake Zebrus at the Hill Elku. Its territory is 55 ha. There is a perfect area for recreation for the devotees of calmness and beautiful landscape as well admirers of untached nature. In summer the lake is filled with blooming yellow and white water-lilies. The lake is good for swimming and fishing.
The lake lies in a woody area in Zebrene Village, its territory is 20,1 ha, average depth 3,3 m. There is one island in a lake about 0,2 ha. Its territory is facilitated for recreation with accomodation. There are footbridges around the lake to make easy the reach to the lake. The lake is rich in fish.
The Pond Lāči is an artificially formed 29 ha water reservoir with a romantic island in the middle with a footbridge leading to it. The island is facilitated for sports and rest. In the sauna you can have a steam- bath and in the nearby old bath-house stay overnight.
